She has actively served her clientele in all areas of financial services, including wealth management, retirement planning and tax advantage investing. Her practice also includes audit, accounting and wealth planning.

She earned her degrees in law and accounting from the University of the Philippines and her Master of Laws in Taxation from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology.
Geralyn feels strongly for the poor in the Philippines, her home country, and believes that education is the greatest weapon against poverty. Since 2007, Geralyn, together with other like-minded individuals, has been instrumental in providing scholarship grants to deserving college students of the University of the Philippines in the Visayas. She is one of the founders of the University of the Philippines Silak-Silab Foundation (UPSSF), a 501(c)(3) public charity, which helps underprivileged college students pay their nontuition expenses. UPSSF has also been a contributing charity for the Bank of America Chicago marathon where Geralyn was one of the charity runners.
To stay fit, Geralyn runs marathons, rides centuries (a 100-mile bike ride) and does triathlons. So far, she has ran 47 marathons across 25 different states. Her greatest accomplishment as an athlete is finishing the IRONMAN Louisville Kentucky in 2012. Since then she has completed 10 more IRONMAN races: IRONMAN Wisconsin in 2015, Texas, Lake Placid, and Chattanooga in 2017, Santa Rosa and Mont Tremblant in 2018, and Boulder, Mont Tremblant, Wisconsin, and Arizona in 2019, with plans for many more in the future.
